Technical Project Manager

Technical Project Manager

As a digital agency at Strijp-S Eindhoven, we work to make our clients successful on a daily basis. We're looking for a technically proficient project manager who guides clients and teams to a stunning result from start to project completion.

Full-time · Eindhoven

About this role

We work on digital products that help our clients grow, for example by exploring new revenue channels, automating services, or making products smarter. It is your responsibility to guide all stakeholders, such as our clients and team members, optimally throughout this process. You establish clear responsibilities, monitor progress, and facilitate communication between parties. Additionally, you report on hours worked and closely monitor the budget.

You're involved in the proposal phase to build the ideal team and clarify the planning and deliverables. It is essential for you to understand and incorporate both technical and business goals into the project plan. Budget, timeline and quality are always crucial for our clients, and it's your task to make balanced decisions between these. During the weekly project meetings, you give management-level updates on the progress of your projects and discuss incoming projects with the sales team.

Our team consists of passionate Laravel and Flutter developers, UI/UX designers and sales consultants. We work with flash teams: project teams brought together specifically for a project, so we always have the right expertise in the team to achieve our goals. You'll help the team to perform at their best, but you can also expect direct feedback if that benefits the quality of our products. We ask you to actively think along with the way can grow our business and service our clients even better, and therefore we'll share our financial data and prognoses.

Besides the work, we like to have some fun together, including city trips to Barcelona and Berlin, hackathons, parties, board game nights and we sometimes happen to be at Statumseind when the clubs are closing for the night.

What we expect from you

  • You are part of the team and enjoy collaborating within and beyond your own discipline. Excellent people skills are a must.

  • You have a technical or engineering background, preferably in ICT or computer science, or you have work experience in the industry.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of project management principles (such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall) through work experience in a lead role, education, or certifications.
  • You're incredibly ambitious, eager to learn and you like to work on your professional and personal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in Dutch and English
  • A highly professional and representative work ethos, both towards team members and clients.

  • Experience in a role where you translated client wishes to technical requirements.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Up to date on the latest trends and emerging technologies in the digital and ICT industry
  • You're willing to represent Dutch Coding Company in lectures or workshops, for example for students, or at business networking clubs.
  • You like to stick around for the team activities.

The perks

  • 👩🏼‍🎓 €1000 educational budget for workshops, (international) conferences and books (amongst other things)
  • 🏢 Office at Strijp-S
  • 🧓 A great pension fund
  • 💃The best city trips (what's that? Barcelona?) and the best parties
  • 🥖 Free lunch with something for everyone

  • ⏰ Flexible office hours, including the possibility to work from home part-time (although we like to  see you in the office from time to time).
  • 🥳 Fun colleagues (for real)
  • 🧑‍💻 A computer of choice and the software you like to work with.
